Project3 were approached by the Shire of Shark Bay in 2014 to assist and support in the development of the “Festival of Discovery” to celebrate the 400 year commemoration of the landing of Dirk Hartog.
Project3 is experienced in the development and delivery of significant community and commemorative events and has existing positive relationships with the project’s key stakeholders and event partners which enabled an informed and proactive start to the development of the project.
The scope included the development of a schedule of engaging and diverse events that would combine to create the Festival of Discovery. Integral to the development of the schedule of events was the formulation of a realistic and feasible budget with recommendations for additional funding sources and commercial opportunities.
A key outcome of the contract was to prepare a Strategic Marketing Plan that the Shire of Shark Bay would be able to implement through the life of the project. To support the marketing strategy Project3 developed the initial brand identity that supported the project to enable the creation of base artwork and graphic elements for use across all collateral and digital mediums.
