Project3 managed all aspects of this VIP afternoon of new season fashion from Myer accompanied by a delicious two-course lunch and fine wines. Set against the backdrop of King’s Park at the Frasers State Function Centre, Spring/Summer collections from Myer’s premier designers including Alex Perry, Aurelio Costarella, Morrison, Toni Maticevski, sass & bide, E L L E R Y and many more hit the catwalk.
Project3 have been engaged since 2013 to project manage this annual lunch, one of the first to sell out every year and the major hospitality deliverable for event partners, with celebrity guests and dignatries in attendance.
This complicated show features more than 30 designers and 120 looks, requiring a team including stylist Teagan Sewell, MAC for make-up and L’Oreal for hair to meet the demanding timeline.
For the 2014 Myer Fashion Lunch, Project3 delivered event planning, operations and venue management, including creative decor, AV, overseeing bump-in and execution. With a number of event partners and naming rights partners (Telstra and Myer) there was also significant stakeholder liaison involved to coordinate branding, design, MC and fashion elements, supporting casting models and styling teams.
In addition to these areas of operational delivery, Project3 introduced ProjectSocial – live media feeds to all screens during the event from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter providing partner benefits through on screen mentions and increasing the overall social media engagement of the attendees. After the final runway of the day, MCs Angela Tsun and Blake Johnson ran to the end of the runway with Myer Ambassador Kris Smith to take a group selfie, which was posted to Instagram and streamed across screens at the venue.
