Project3 began a close working relationship with the City of Cockburn when contracted in 2016 to undertake a strategic review of their annual event program.
The review considered all existing events and made recommendations to refine and refocus the event strategy to meet City objectives. As part of the review a number of new event concepts were proposed.
One concept was of particular interest to the City of Cockburn and Project3 was contracted to further develop the event concept and on successful submission to the council for Coogee Live” it was decided to proceed with the event in 2018.
Project3 assisted the City of Cockburn in developing and refining their key outcomes to deliver on their objectives and this has resulted in an engaging community event that presents the City of Cockburn in a positive and refreshing way to the current and future communities.
Project3 is responsible for all event development, operational delivery, sponsorship procurement and relationship management, marketing and community engagement. Project3 is currently mid way through a multi year contract for delivery with the City of Cockburn.
Coogee Live is a free and vibrant community event created to showcase the beautiful Cockburn coastal strip and Coogee Beach. In Coogee Live’s inaugural event in 2018 it inspired and delighted the locals of Cockburn and visitors to the area. The main objective of this festival is to promote the City of Cockburn as a fun and thriving place to live and work, suitable for all ages and lifestyles.
Coogee Live entertainment trail runs from Port Coogee to Coogee Beach and on to the Coogee Beach Surf Life Saving Club. The Coogee Live Trail consists of four main hubs of activity delivering everything from movies on the big screen over the marina, pop up food hubs, stages with live performances programmed, roving childrens performers, large scale interactive mural activations, lighting and sculptural displays all support by an illuminated trail.
